| Abstract: | En 2013, Michel Smolders et ses enfants confient au Musée en plein air plusieurs oeuvres conservées dans le jardin de la maison des Avins-en-Condroz, où le sculpteur résidait et où il anima de 1977 à 1992 un Symposium de sculpture international. Le Grand Gisant, installé depuis plusieurs années près des Centres sportifs du Blanc Gravier, est rejoint par un Gisant de plus petite taille et trois sculptures aux accents anthropomorphes, dont "Samouraï".
L’ensemble constitue depuis lors un « Jardin Michel Smolders ». |
