Abstract: Il appartient au groupe instrumental des forceps parallèles tricourbes. Il a pour avantage d'exercer sur la partie fœtale, à l'extrémité des cuillers, une compression moindre que les forceps croisés. Poullet appartient à l'école lyonnaise. Ce type de forceps, pour une raison mystérieuse, n'a guère été utilisé dans la pratique.
